For some strange reason that I don't understand at all, South Today, our regional news programme, decided to air their 'news' story about last year's Brighton event tonight. I know that editing footage together can take a little while, but over 6 months?

Anyway, it was cool to see some different footage, featuring a few people that will be somewhat familiar.

There's curreently a link to an online version here:

Otherwise, a search on the BBC site for "Competing to grow best beards" should do it.

Gosh! Your're too kind. Thanks for the appreciation.

Freddie Rostand (the director/cameraman) shot about four hours of material during the day, so it must have been really hard to distil three minutes from that lot...

But at least you did all get to see me in my birthday suit! :oops:

Roll on Alaska, but I think I'll keep my clothes on there! :mrgreen:

Brilliant!!! some superb beards and Moustaches there! I hope to make it to Alaska too, picking up some american friends on the way, also bearded lol
