"A Handlebar Moustache is indeed a glorious facial hair feature. Whether it stands alone or crowns some other form of facial hair, the glory comes from it being a 'Handlebar' and not simply an ordinary moustache." - Schnauzer

Gentlemen!

A little while ago Schnauzer mentioned that using Retread, a conditioner made by Lush, helped revitalising his beautiful moustache. While I was a bit put off by the price of it, I stumbled on something called Jungle last time I visited the Paris shop I usually go to. It is a solid conditioner which sells for about 5 euros for 50g, which is quite affordable as a little goes a very long way. I have used it a for a few weeks and the stuff works miracles!
I have very difficult hairs - on my face, too - and keeping my moustache in shape is usually tricky business. The hairs are wiry and straw-like, they like exploring every possible directionm and I always end up with either too much wax or not enough. Provitamin B5 or silk proteins help a bit, but just a bit. The Jungle stuff, on the other end, is amazing - so much so that I am now able not to use wax at all (I still do, because I like the smell of Skippy's too much). It needs to be heated before application as it contains cocoa butter, so the easiest way is to turn a tiny ball into a paste by adding hot water and stirring. I found that doing this three times or so per week is enough to give my moustache the flowing and healthy aspect I've always wanted. Try it out!

Cheers!

WW
