I just styled my moustache into a Handlebar last week. (ends curled up with wax). Two nights ago, I took a deep breath and went to a party and out to dinner. Lots of compliments, a few laughs. It was a great experience.
I'm thrilled and I love the way it looks!
Question: Do you style it into a Handlbebar style (ends curled) for only special occasions, dinners, outings..etc., or at the beginning of your day, everyday?
So far, I've only been using wax (and making it fancy) when I got out to meet friends, etc. When I'm home, or just running to the store, I leave it unstyled.

I'm a newbie with the handlebar so am equally interested in reading the responses. As for me, it depends on the day and what I'm doing, as well as the weather. The dogs go for a run every day and the local dog park is dusty, to say the least. So, if it's very windy I defintiely leave it loose. Have found that no matter what I use for dressing, dust has a way of sticking to it and dog park dust is not what I care to have under my nose all day...In general, I would say I follow your approach - around the house and that sort of casual thing, it stays loose. Going out some place much beyond the hardware store then it gets done up a bit

I style with wax only on special occasions. It makes easier to just brush it as a handlebar and live the day. Other thing is, on special occasions it's nice to have the attention and all the conversations, on the day by day I don't have the time or patience haha. Also, I lose precious hairs when I wax, better only when it's worth.
But at the end, styling, with wax or anything, is always great. Reactions are the best.

I generally use a wee dab of wax every day to give my moustache some shape and flow before I go out anywhere. At home, I can go the whole day with no wax. And I only do tight curls or English style for special occasions.

I dare say Unstyled is not applicable to me, lol.. What I mean is I use different styles depending on my mood. Even around the house I "style" it. It might not appear to be so, but if not with wax, then I usually have a moisturizer or Shea butter or lanolin in... Also, sometimes I'm in the mood to look clean, but not waxed. For that I discovered a product that retains the shape I want without the polish of wax. I also found out that if I style it on days I'm not out and about, the days I really want to shape it come easier. .

About half the time I go naked, so to speak. I like to style it in different ways the rest of the time, doing English, longhorns, solid curls, brushed open curls, and whatever I can get it to do with glue stick. Sometimes I will have nothing on it part of the day and get bored at work and go style it into something.

I style my mustache every day. It takes no more than 10 minutes depending of the style I choose. I cannot imagine to go out unstyled !

For the most part I style it every day, and even when I don't use wax I use the blow dryer to comb it to the sides. 5-10 minutes depending on if I'm in a Hungarian/English mood or a curled mood.

I wax everyday! It's not exceptable to go out my front door without it styled! Only takes me about 10mins to give it my full treatment! If im going out for the evening then I spend a little more time & effort!

I'm wash and wear with minimal styling and no styling products, except on special occasions - which are rare.

Mine is wirey and there is no way that I could leave the house without wax in it. For work, whilst I use wax, It's more to keep it neat and tidy/for training and the tips stay pointing downwards. On the weekends, the tips go up!

I have many times where I don't wax and even go out that way some times, but the better half likes the curls I have at the moment more so than some times so I am making extra effort to style more often at the minute so she is happier with it. It's nice to do something right for once!
