"A Handlebar Moustache is indeed a glorious facial hair feature. Whether it stands alone or crowns some other form of facial hair, the glory comes from it being a 'Handlebar' and not simply an ordinary moustache." - Schnauzer

Gentlemen, I once again come bearing bad news. I've recently broken my wrist, and the inability to use my left hand for anything at all has left me with little alternative to scaling back present moustache operations (that sentence took me a solid two minutes to type out). Preparing and eating food has become a difficult and time-consuming process, and the inability to effectively style the mo out of the way has compounded these difficulties. Add to that the fact that, until the wrist is healed, I'll be assuming a strictly managerial role at work, and I'm pretty much out of options (presentability and all that).

So, I'll be tr*mming everything back for a while, if only to make my life easier while while I recover. I'll still be checking in on my brethren here, and cannot wait to start growing again. I'll leave you with the last picture I have of the current incarnation of my moustache, wax-free, taken a month or so ago at (another) disappointing Buffalo Bills game.

Hope it mends soon. When I was in my teens I managed to break the same wrist twice!

Yes, broken wrists are no fun at all - especially when they cause the death of such a fine handlebar as yours

ugh, i would never trim it back....makes me sick to think about it....it takes so long to grow it in the first place, constant checking it, wishing it was longer....

can't you just do it with one hand??? maybe not as detailed but still....

See how quickly you can pick a Handlebar out of a crowd of clean-shaven.

Heal well my friend, but I fail to see the need to punish your Handlebar for the wrist injury or your team's loss. :)
