The Handlebar Club Forum

"A Handlebar Moustache is indeed a glorious facial hair feature. Whether it stands alone or crowns some other form of facial hair, the glory comes from it being a 'Handlebar' and not simply an ordinary moustache." - Schnauzer

I've been a straight razor shaver for almost six years and I'll never go back to disposables. Might try a DE one day but only out of curiosity. My shaves are awesome now. For straight razor info I use and recommend http://www.straightrazorplace.com. They've got an extensive Library and incredibly active Forum. You could do worse than to become a member there.

Here's my weapon of choice. It's a 150 year old, 7/8", half hollow, Wade & Butcher with Ironwood scales, florette bottom pin and a green glass bead third pin. Eat your heart out. :shades:

Welcome back xman.

I note "Sheffield" stamped on the blade's shaft. My wife went to Uni there and often reminds me that at one time Sheffield was a world leader in the manufacture of surgical steel and knives. That blade is quite a treasure to own.

It's been a long while, so let's be having a picture of your 'tache. :D

What a beautiful piece of art.

Beautiful razor, Nate. Deadly, too, in the wrong hands!
