I picked a 150ml tube of this up today at Boots for a reduced £2....

Just tried it on my tash and it's rock solid ! Smells lovely too...a fresh fruity scent

It's got the texture and colour of PVA glue

I know my tash is quite small compared to most on here, but I still need something to keep it away from my lips and give it a nice pointed end curl

Try it chaps :)

i am interested in checking it out. hope they have it in holland too, it is a pretty major brand so might have to do some hunting. if not i am back in the homeland in a week and a bit, think a vist to boots will be on the cards then.

how long does it take to set? do you have to be quick with what you want to do?

You have a bit of playing time before it sets, I put it on my entire moustache and felt my face tighten as it set :)

Well worth a try for £2 for a big tube

 You're right; he should of prefaced it with hirsute appendage.

Schwarzkopf also make Got2b Unstoppable, which apparently is a close substitute for Brother's Love when it was previously out-of-stock.

I also use the got2bglued spiking glue, this stuff is water resistant and keeps my ends twisted up all day untill you put warm water and shampoo in it! I need this "screaming hold" because my facial hair grows pin straight clubman just isn't strong enough!

My wife picked up a tube of this GOT2B Glued gel for me. [edit - I wrote gel but it's more like a creme or what you guys call a pomade.] I tried it and while it's not perfect, considering the price I paid for Brother's Love, this product is a lot cheaper and does a good job, almost as good as Brother's Love. A 150 ml tube cost just over €6 here in the Netherlands and was carried by a chain store. The Brother's Love is 20 ml and costs between €5 and €6 as I recall.

This GOT2B Glued takes a while to dry and it's easy to see why, the most prominent ingredient is water. What I think would be perfect would be this product made with less water. I apply it to a dry mustache and used my wife's blow dryer to quickly dry it. I'll keep experimenting with this but it's great to know that an over the counter product that can purchased in chain stores is available.

If I were grading this on a scale from one to ten I would give it an 8.5.

@tanzwut: Kruidvat carries it in Holland (and Belgium)

That's good to know. My wife bought it at Etos, also a chain store.

Would some of you kind gentlemen like to transfer your comments on Got2b products into the Glue, Pomade and Spray Reviews Forum which is now open, so that we can consolidate your expert user knowledge into a comprehensive resource?

There's a Template there with simple instructions for your review comments, which will help readers to make comparisons between reviewer's experiences, and between similar products. Don't worry about the almost blank first post in each Topic - someone will be along shortly to delete any 'placeholder' blanks.

Thanks to EricJT, Nick D, Schnauzer and Smedstad for help with setting up the Review sections.

David

This is a follow up. I'm still on the same tube of Schwarzkopf's Got2b Glued (though I have used Brother's Love a handful of times when I was in a hurry).

About a week ago I started using my wife's hair dryer every time I apply it. (I know I wrote in the previous post that I used the hair dryer, but I only used it a few times in the beginning.) It takes less than 30 seconds for the product to dry using the hair dryer and it's really set for the entire day. It's now 11:20 PM, I'm drinking a glass of Merlot, and my mustache is still dry.

When this tube runs out I might try another hair styling product. I see them on the shelves at the local supermarket and they're given numbers from one to seven or one to nine with a number highlighted to indicate just how strong it's supposed to be.

An update - I am in Germany at the moment and bought Got2b glued but here it is labeled, got2b kleber.

It is the same product but here in Germany I paid 3.45 while in Holland I paid 6.49.

I'm just passing this on. This is a real bargain ... at either price. Needless to say I bought a tube.

All the best, Dave Horne

Next, Dave, fly to the US. We can get it here for $2.50 a tube.
