The Handlebar Club Forum

"A Handlebar Moustache is indeed a glorious facial hair feature. Whether it stands alone or crowns some other form of facial hair, the glory comes from it being a 'Handlebar' and not simply an ordinary moustache." - Schnauzer

I took my daughter to the zoo today for her 1st birthday and discovered a monkey with a moustache! I think it was called a emperor monkey.

My mrs said to our daughter, "look the monkey has a moustache like daddy's" then everyone who was viewing them turned around and looked at me! It was quite funny!

Please post any other pictures of animals with moustaches!

EricJT posted this image to another topic some time ago. It deserves a mention here too.

This is from The Handlebar Club news section:
Image

Johnny's owner Nerys said, "Here is a picture of my elderly gentleman, Johnny, who is the proud wearer of a rather magnificent ‘handlebar’ I think! He is now 13 years old, very distinguished and rather wise. A few months ago, my partner and I went to the Windsor Castle pub for a meal and spoke to the landlord telling him about Johnny and his handlebar. He told us to send a photo in so I’m finally getting ‘round to it.

"Johnny would very much like to become a member of your prestigious club, and wondered if you would please consider him? He apologises for the presence of a very small beard but it cannot be helped... it runs all the way to the tip of his tail and shaving it off might leave him a little chilly!"
