"A Handlebar Moustache is indeed a glorious facial hair feature. Whether it stands alone or crowns some other form of facial hair, the glory comes from it being a 'Handlebar' and not simply an ordinary moustache." - Schnauzer

Hello my friends ! I know I haven't been very active on the forum, it's summer here and I can't stand the heat, so I need to go out and etc.

I'm a HUGE fan of series, and I was watching an episode of Portlandia, a veeeery funny comedy about Portland and how... alternative the city is. I wish I could see it with my very own eyes, it must be a super cool place.

The minute I saw this sketch on Portlandia, I came just here to tell you, hah. It features moustaches, especially Handlebars, it even get noted as a 1890's "thing".

It's from the second season, episode 5. Here is a link to the IFC page with the video, I can't see it from my country but you gents maybe can:

I think the strongman have a real handlebar. What do you think ?

See you around ! :tophat:

Thanks. That's hilarious. My brother and his daughter are moving up there this summer. They will be driving a truck of belongings to storage in Eugene, leaving tomorrow, and my niece is going to see if she can get transferred to a Portland branch of the restaurant she works at - Black Angus.

Portland is said to be a beautiful city.
