"A Handlebar Moustache is indeed a glorious facial hair feature. Whether it stands alone or crowns some other form of facial hair, the glory comes from it being a 'Handlebar' and not simply an ordinary moustache." - Schnauzer

I want to remind everyone that on July 3rd 2010 the North American Beard and Mustache Championships are being held in Bremerton, Washington. This championship is sponsered by the Whisker Club which is a member club of the World Beard and Mustache Association that puts on the World Championships. That means that, unlike other championships, they adhere to the same rules as the World Championships. That means fair competition for all. They do not have cash prizes, rather all profits go to a local homeless veteran's shelter, that I think we all agree, is a worthy cause.

So all of you interested in visiting the bueatiful Pacific Northwest, comradery with fellow hairsute enthuesists and friendly competion; it promises to be a great time. Visit the Whisker Club website for details.

I was there, must not have been purty nuf for them. They did moustaches first, then beards. I did take 1st in Imperial Moustache against stiff competition. Had a good crowd, raised good amount of money for a worthy charity, and I think everyone had fun.
