I have been a member to other forums, and thought it would be good to introduce myself.
I am a retired toolmaker of 43 years, no molds or dies but a lot of custom machinery, and tools, jigs and fixtures. loved the work, but had to give it up because of emphysema.
I did a lot of Bass Fishing, and Deer Hunting but that too is gone, I hold no grudges as I started Smoking at a very young age thanks to an older Sister, who is no longer with us.
I served in the US Navy from March 59 to Jan. 67, was in the waters off the coast of Vietnam 3 different times, went up the Bancock River in 62 to Tialand, but we were not there. was on the Cuban Blockaid, and while in the Navy I completed my trainning for my Trade and passed my GED test to get a High School Equivelency. as I quit School in the 8th grade because they would not let me continue taking Shop Classes, (Wood, Metal, Drafting, ETC). said I was putting too much effort in those classes and not enough in my others, Math, English, History (World, and American), but that just wasn't the case I new that working with my hands would make me a living fo my family when I got one and the rest was handy but offered no pay check for my type of skills.
after getting out ofte Navy I married a Woman with two Girls and then proceeded to join the rest of the Broke, worried, overworked, underpaid working class.
The rest every one knows that have been there and done that.
I have just lately become interested in the Handel Bar Moustache, and have desided to try one so this will be an experiance for me and any help and informatin will be appreciated, Hope I haven't bored you to death with my windy intro.

I have tried to support a full beard for a long time like 15 years but it just never would fill in my wife said it looked like the mothes had been at it, so I desided to try a Van Dyke style, maybe that will work, if any pointers are out here fire away.

That is a good looking Handel Bar there, I have family up in that part of the Country, a Sister in Everret, Wash. and a Cousin in Spokane, others in Oregon, Beautiful Country up there but don't care for the Drizzle, but then I guess that is what makes it pretty.

Gentlemen (I would usually include ladies but in this instance that particular line maybe a little light on the uptake)
I wish to thank the organizers of this side for their diligence and eye for detail. Already a few of my compatriots have learned a great deal from the information you have so kindly gathered.
To this end I have mentioned your esteemed society on the steam punk boards for the betterment of all. One hopes that soon the creative anachronistic youth will too be bristling with fiery coils of facial manhood. Some are already leading the way.
I hope this mention meets with your memberships approval.
