I am a 22-year old from Denver, CO and, through a little bit of poking from my wonderful girlfriend, decided to start growing a little handlebar number on my upper lip. I have been in the process for just over two weeks now and the hair is tickling my lip like mad. Is it time to start combing and using wax? I realize that it is a little early in the process, but my facial hair does grow rather quickly... What do you think?
I am also looking for suggestions on various beautifying products (ie: waxes, combs etc)? Any advice?

Russell,

Good idea. Try some wax to make it look more defined. As to which wax and how much to use will be up to experimentation.

All the best

Thank you again. It is coming along nicely, I think, but it will definitely take much more time before I can get it to do more than just comb to the side...
B-vitamins??? really?
I am fairly impatient, is there any way to get my hair to come in faster/thicker??? If not, that is fine, I can wait...

Unless one consults a doctor for some new information,it just all depends on the person and genes. Some grow so fast and other slow as can possibly be.I was in that i wanted an instant handlebar!! But actually growing it slowly is better so that your family and friends can get used to that luxurious moustache! So just be patient is all i can recommend.
All the best!

Russell, I have been growing mine for a few months and i am still impatient.you will see changes every week.russell did you see the picture of Daemon,he looked a little like you.there are many variations on this mustache and you will grow into the right one.it is more than the mustache.it is about the over all look of your grooming.if i tell you to be patient then you have permission to do the same to me!

"B" vitamins, are best, when taken from their natural source. That "B"stands from the source, namely brewer's yeast. (And, I don't recomend taking any pills or powders, if you know what I mean.)
