"A Handlebar Moustache is indeed a glorious facial hair feature. Whether it stands alone or crowns some other form of facial hair, the glory comes from it being a 'Handlebar' and not simply an ordinary moustache." - Schnauzer

Two years before he led the first expedition to the South Pole, arriving at the Earth's southernmost point 100 years ago today, Roald Amundsen:

I am partial to Jimmy Edwards. I would like to think we had a similar style.

Well...tombstone is a great inspiration....but...as cheesy as it sounds...if not for finding this forum and all if the wonderful modern day handlebars, I might have chosen a different style of facial hair. True, my significant other purchased a book titled the mostache growers guide, but you guys gave me the confidence boost I needed!

It looks photoshopped. Or alien.

Can't forget Kurt Russell in Tombstone. This is the type of moustache I'm hoping to have. We'll see if I can grow it out like this.

And of course the man himself

Here's one of my modern-day moustache heroes - a moustache god and facebook friend who lives in Sweden. This is the real thing:

He now sports a nice beard also, which does distract from the moustache, but Lord, what a moustache! Sam Elliott, eat your heart out.
