Thanks for the kind words. I too was amazed at how much growth I've gotten in just four months. It would seem that my growth rate is around 1/4 inch per month. At that rate it will be interesting to see what my terminal length will be. My current span as waxed is 5 inches tip to tip. I'll probably not let it exceed 6 or 7 inches total. It will also be interesting to see if I reach the 7 inch mark around the first of July.
Time will tell, and remember NO TRIMMING.
Russell

Hello all, glad to finally have registered and joined the community. I've had a beard and moustache probably since age sixteen. Five years later (21) and I wouldn't have it any other way. I've only recently started applying wax or glue to curl the ends up, to go for that actual handlebar look. Here are a few photos, taken on various different dates within the last year. This is how I keep my moustache most days (without any wax or glue): This was using Firehouse Wacky Tacky wax. And this one here was from today itself, after having used a glue stick for the first time. It kept it's hold all day, much to my surprise. I was quite happy with the way the glue worked. I was so very pleasantly surprised by how well the glue worked for me today that I might start using it every day. Not used to using glue all that much, so any opinions or thoughts are welcome.

I love the Glue Stick... Clear craft too! EricJT will be along shortly to give you the long and short of it. He is my glue stick guru!
While I love the look you have going, I am a moustache purists, so I will suggest you one day try to shave the beard. Keep it handlebar!
Glue Stick will not work in those rains you get in NC.

Yes, here I am. lol. DarhiWala, you look great. I applaud you for having such independent style at such a young age. Glue stick is great, but yes, not so great for wet climates or where the breath condenses on moustaches. I wish it were, but then I am fortunate that I live in Las Vegas and have forgotten what rain looks like. You will find glue stick gives you more options for styling your moustache since it works a bit differently from wax. Easier to force curls on straight hair or make curls go straight, and other things. Welcome to the club forum. By the way, please to the survey on by blog. Your pictures are great! http://handlebarmoustachelife.com/moustache-surveys/the-handlebar-moustache-life-survey-20-questions-for-you/

Hey DarhiWala, your hirsute look is great, and love the lid to top it off. I don't know about shaving that beard, though--you'd have to figure out where to start! Collar bone?

Hey hey, thanks for the kind words guys. I never even thought about how the rain would effect the glue stick, thanks for the heads up.
I did notice, Eric, that it is quite a bit easier to style the Moustache with glue as opposed to wax. I also went ahead and filled out the survey on your blog, I linked this thread for you to pull the pictures from, if that's alright. If you need me to email you a picture for any reason just say the word.
Haha, Clarifixer. If I tried to shave my beard off it'd probably take half a day. Believe it or not, my beard was twice this length around age 17-18. I'll post some more pictures in a few days to show you guys what I'm talking about.

Well, well, well. Today is "blast from the past day" here at Jr. High. I wore my clothes from the living history museum where I work during the summer. The picture is nothing special, but I am posting it so that you can see the difference if you look back at my earliest picture from 3 years ago in the forum members' gallery. Wow, what a difference.

And I don't know why I kept the goatee so long...
