Looks like we wont be staying now as Brighton hoteliers have a bizarre no-single-night-bookings policy. Weirdos.

We'll probably just come down on the train, stay for the event, then shoot off back again as we've tried absolutely everywhere.

I will keep an eye open for you – granted, I realise that there will be many people.

I have started a new job a month ago and they are getting funny about the fact I what time off even though i told them about it before i started? (I work 6 days a week) very annoying

Well, I'll certainly be there, as I'm registered as a competitor :? . Outside of the organised stuff, though, I've really no idea about what I'll be doing and when. Wait and see how things turn out, I guess...

Our plan is to turn up on Saturday for the event, see what's happening afterwards, get drunk, get a late train back to London, come back again on Sunday, spend lots of money in the lanes, go home again.

Is there some sort of function on Saturday night or will people just drift to the pubs?

There's a Buffet Supper from 8.30 until 10.00pm "for those who want to attend - cash bar and food. Live band"

I guess after that most will end up either in a pub or their hotel bar.
