Pringle is OK here but in polite company, I fear:

"My Pringle grew to about 1.5 inches, then it reached terminal length." Or...

"My Pringle keeps drooping even when I push it to the sides." Or the worst, at the holiday party:

"Whatever I try, I can't control my Pringle. It just goes where ever it wants to."

Cheers,

Bob

And if you shave the little so far unnamed area between the 'bars, would there be a racy little descriptive prefix? A naked Pringle? Shaving your Pringle? Egad, it gets worse.....

By the way, the only method I've found to denude the er, thing, is a Gillette Sensor two blade rig. Works fine, but does anyone have another way?

Why would you want to? If I had your prodigious bushy pringle/bar/middle/reasonal growth, I'd want to keep it!

Ah, it's just matter of having my own style, I guess. There's only about 5mm of gap--enough to separate the two halves and make people ask how and why I do it. Ha! It seems to have worked!

That little dip in the center of the upper lip is called the philtrum. Before I grew a handlebar there was a period of months some years ago where I was shaving that out of my mustache. When I let it grow back in, a couple people at work confessed they thought it looked creepy shaved out.

Bar... it's a bar, dadgummit! Bar it is, so say we all (except Eric).

Now we can tell our lady friends that they can or cannot pass the bar..... too much???

Bar? Bah! No, fellows, that is too drab and still needs explaining. Bar? Pringle is fun, but I'm now leaning toward "the body".

I also still like "pringle" best for an alternative/fun name and "body" and "bar" are both good, but I'm afraid I will probably always refer to it as the "centre" or "middle" out of habit.
