Gents,

My mustache hairs are like steel wool. While I could use Clubman wax in my yout (sic), it will no longer work for me. I like the idea of a water-soluble wax, and the only other I'm aware of is Bounder.

Has anyone compared the two, and if so, is it possible that the Bounder exerts a greater hold?

Thanks,

Bob

I have never used Clubman, but Bounder has an extremely good hold. I think Mrdjthc could make a comparison for you... Also, Stern's is water soluble with pretty good hold - but Bounder is definitely better for hold, while Stern's is more sculptable, in my opinion.

I have used both types of wax and I got to say that bounders is my choice! I like to have a solid hold all day and I didn't get that one bit from clubmans! Bounders gives you a strong hold all day and then washes out easy before bed
You need to heat the bounders up a bit before applying as so it goes in evenly and don't clump up
Once it sets then it's staying put all day! It does dry quite quick so you need to act fast but you can use a hair dryer to heat it up again once it's applied
It smells lovely too!

Hope I've helped a bit?
