Would some of the fellows who have attended one of these events describe what goes on? I'd love to attend and am curious about how the weekend plays out.
Thanks in advanced.
Following my own experiences in Brighton last year, I've been pondering how to adequately describe the event, but it's hard think of anything else that remotely relates to it. Sure, a factual list of the day's activities (pre-register, meet people, take part in parade, eat, drink, compete on stage, pose for cameras, collect prize

) is straightforward enough, but that doesn't even begin to describe the true experience. I guess a gathering of that many individual characters was always going to throw up a few surprises, but I really hadn't bargained for what I actually encountered. I feel sure that it'll be a day that I remember for the rest of my life.
I've really no idea how similar the Brighton event was to those that went before it. Nor, of course, can I acurately predict how any future events might turn out. However, if you've got the chance to go along and experience it for yourself, then based upon my own experience of last years event alone, I'd highly recommend giving it a go.
