"A Handlebar Moustache is indeed a glorious facial hair feature. Whether it stands alone or crowns some other form of facial hair, the glory comes from it being a 'Handlebar' and not simply an ordinary moustache." - Schnauzer

Greeting to our friends in the Handlebar Club. We just wanted to share the news of 60 years of friendship and fun in whisker camaraderie with the completion of our 60th annual Miners and Trappers Ball/ Mr. Fur Face state beard and moutache competition. For the first time in 60 years a natural goatee has claimed the title. In addition funds were raised for local charities. Salute! :beerstaches: :bald:

Congratulations to SCABMC.

I read the article dated April 3, 2010, but note an error.

"In the years up to Anchorage it would not be untill late in 2008 that the glacier between the Handlebar club and the Southcentral Alaska Beard and Moustache Club would began to thaw."

I believe the ice was with the Whisker Club, of Bremerton and not The Handlebar Club, of the UK.
In any case, I'm pleased to hear its water under the bridge now (pun intended).
