The 2008 European Championship was held November 8 and HBC's Andy Lear reports on same.

WBMC Paul Lewis's significant other was there to photograph our very own GbH and many other HBC members.

Looks like an upset in the Hungarian category. Rainer Frech a previous WBMC took 1st, Krisof Ambrus and Peter Szilagyi (both Hungarian) in Hussar costume took 2nd and 3rd, respectively. Gunter Rosin came 4th. Bruce Roe switched categories and placed 3rd in Natural.

Former HBC President Ted Sedman retained 1st in the Chinese category. He and Bruce Roe appear to have been the only non-europeans to place.

I enjoyed looking through the photos on Flickr.
It looks like the costumes are more important than the facial hair!
